Fully Vaccinated Need Only To Undergo Rapid Test Upon Arrival in Cambodia

Prime Minister Hun Sen has said that all arrivals at airport need to undertake a rapid test only and, if negative, can check into their hotels or return to their homes immediately.

“The rapid antigen tests to detect Covid-19 will be applied for fully vaccinated people but the unvaccinated ones must take both rapid and PCR tests,” he said.

“If the rapid tests for the vaccinated show negative, they can travel anywhere they want throughout the country,” he added.

“For fully-vaccinated tourists, locals or foreigners must have confirmed Covid-free certificates in 72 hours and upon arrival, they have to take only rapid tests,” he said, noting that measures will take effect as of November 15.

There is no longer any need to wait for a PCR test or a three day wait at home or hotel for the results of a PCR test which is now no longer required from Monday, November 15.

Arrivals who have not been fully vaccinated need to undergo a PCR test and need to be quarantined for 14 days and tested again before being released.
